Dear America: A Journey to the New World

Remember Patience Whipple is a young girl traveling on the Mayflower from England to the New World in 1620.

"Mem," as she is known to her friends and family, travels with her parents to find religious freedom as Separatists from the Church of England.

The journey is sixty-five days filled of hope and tragedy.  Once the passengers arrive, they learn quickly that rebuilding a life is far more difficult

than they ever imagined.  Mem's diary is a year long account of the trials and triumphs for the group of Separatists and Strangers.
